The Sonny Angel Rainy Day Series launched at Blink Box in June 2025, with a second limited run in July. It brings a bit of colour to gloomy days! Officially called the 'I Love Rainy Day' series, it's also known as the 'Rainy Day Series'. This Limited Edition lineup is exactly what we all need to brighten up those overcast afternoons. With each Sonny Angel mini figure dressed in a colourful raincoat and matching boots, this series captures that playful positivity we love about Sonny Angel, even on the gloomiest days.
What's Special About the Rainy Day Series?
Unlike the barefoot figures we’re used to, this was the first series where Sonny Angel mini figures wore boots. The Sonny Angel figures also feature slightly transparent raincoats - resulting in a softer look that catches the light beautifully. They'll look awesome by the window, particularly on darker, gloomier days.
And like all Sonny Angels, they give us a reason to smile, but these ones may just widen that grin being just a bit more colourful. They're the perfect little burst of happy to brighten up your desk or shelf.
Meet the Regular Figures
- Frog - Definitely giving frog energy with a bright green coat and contrasting yellow boots, ready to jump in a puddle.
- Duck - Not typically the most popular figure among collectors, but this one’s surprisingly cute in its vibrant yellow coat and red boots.
- Goldfish - Making a splash with a bold, oversized headpiece and a little tail at the back - definitely a conversation starter!
- Hippopotamus - A sweet, pastel blue hippo with bright orange boots - not what you might expect, but adorable nonetheless.
- Elephant - Dressed in a cheerful yellow coat with blue boots, this figure is pure sunny vibes despite the rain.
- Axolotl - This pink cutie made its Sonny Angel debut in the Rainy Day Series.
Our pick? It may not be the most obvious choice, and feel free to disagree in the comments, but the Goldfish is pretty hard to beat. It’s got that ridiculous headgear that’s just so classically quirky Sonny Angel.
