Sonny Angel Cherry Blossom Guide

Spring finally sprung! The Sonny Angel Cherry Blossom Series returned in April after three years with an all-new design. Inspired by hanami – the Japanese tradition of celebrating spring under blooming cherry blossom trees – this series featured Sonny Angel sitting peacefully, gazing up at gently falling petals.

What Was New This Time?

The big difference this time? The regular figure lineup expanded to six characters! Robby Angel and a secret figure made a comeback, while the regular Sonny Angel figures featured a new seated pose – somehow making them even cuter and more collectible.

Meet the Cherry Blossom Sonny Angel Figures:

6 Regular Figures:

• Rabbit – The OG. Better than ever.
• Parrot – Still as iconic as the first two series.
• Goat – Slayed with cherry blossom hanging from its horn.
• Fawn – A fan-favourite with an elegant look.
• Calico Cat – Because cats make everything better, especially in soft pink.
• Sheep – A highly sought-after figure, probably inspired by the popularity of the sheep from the Home Sweet Home series.

Secret Figures: Cherry Blossom Tree Realness

Two extra special figures were hiding in some boxes:

• Secret Rabbit – Transformed into a whole cherry blossom tree, reminiscent of Japan's Good Luck Darumas and similar to what we saw in Winter Wonderland.
• Robby Angel – Also rocking the tree look, with a delicate blossom adorning the trunk. Learn more about Robby Angel here.

A Look Back at the Cherry Blossom Figures:

This was actually the fourth set of Cherry Blossom Sonny Angel figures, following releases in 2019, 2021, and 2022. Each version featured the same figures with slight design variations, but with two new additions this time, it might have been the best yet!
